1. Do you help with posing?

Yes. Most couples I photograph aren’t used to being in front of the camera, and that’s completely normal. I’ll guide you through natural prompts and simple direction so you feel comfortable while still leaving space for real moments to happen.

2. How far in advance should we book?

For weddings, most couples book 8–12 months in advance to secure their date. Portrait sessions can usually be scheduled a few weeks out depending on availability. If you have a specific date in mind, it’s always best to reach out early.

3. How many photos will we receive?

Portrait sessions typically include a carefully edited gallery of images that tell the story of your session. Weddings receive a larger gallery covering the full day, including key moments, details, and candid interactions.

4. When will we receive our photos?

Portrait galleries are usually delivered within a couple of weeks. Wedding galleries are delivered within several weeks after the wedding day so that each image can be carefully edited and prepared for you.

5. What should we wear for our session?

I recommend outfits that feel comfortable and reflect your style. Neutral tones, soft textures, and coordinating colors tend to photograph well. Once your session is booked, I’m happy to help with suggestions if you’d like guidance.

6. Do you travel for weddings or sessions?

Yes. I’m based in Louisville, Kentucky and regularly photograph weddings and sessions throughout the surrounding region. Travel options are available for locations outside the area.

7. What happens if the weather doesn’t cooperate?

For portrait sessions, we can reschedule if weather conditions aren’t ideal. Weddings move forward rain or shine, and I’m always prepared to adapt to different lighting and weather conditions so your day is still captured beautifully.

8. Can we choose the location for our session?

Absolutely. Some couples already have a meaningful location in mind, while others prefer recommendations. I’m happy to suggest locations around Louisville and the surrounding area that photograph beautifully depending on the look you’re going for.
