My Story

Hey there! I’m Corey :)
I didn’t set out to lead a big creative department. I started as the only videographer in our student ministry, just trying to figure things out. I made plenty of mistakes, had to learn to take feedback, and wrestled with the same insecurities many creatives face.

Over the years, God has opened doors for me to grow. Today, I serve as a Creative Director at my church, helping lead a team of designers, videographers, photographers, social strategists, and producers — along with overseeing our Communications.

What I’ve picked up along the way are lessons about:

• Leading when the path isn’t always clear.

• Balancing vision with execution.

• Navigating feedback and conflict with humility.

• Learning which battles are worth fighting, and which aren’t.

I don’t have it all nailed down. My team and I still wrestle with things like burnout and insecurity. But I’ve learned enough through the ups and downs that I love sharing those lessons with other creatives and leaders who want to grow without giving up.
